The Deputy Judges of Ontario are members of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. They preside over civil proceedings in 59 Small Claims Courts, with a jurisdiction of up to $35,000.
The Ontario Deputy Judges Association is a membership based organization that strives to represent and advance the interests of Deputy Judges by helping perserve the integrity and independence of the judiciary. We do this through advocacy with the authoritative bodies, providing quality continuing professional development for members, and facilitating conversations and sharing among members.
